We are looking for an attentive and reliable doctor's assistant to work two to three days a week, supporting our treating specialists and nurses during tumescent liposuction procedures. Job Opening: Medical Assistant

What are you going to do?

Patient preparation – You welcome patients with warmth and professionalism, take medical photos, measure vital signs such as blood pressure and weight, and complete the preoperative checklist.
Assistance during and after procedures – From tumescent liposuction to lipofilling and body/neck tite procedures: you will support the doctors and nurses during the procedure and independently take care of dressing and removing sutures, as well as post-operative checks.
Optimal operating environment – You thoroughly prepare the operating room and ensure a hygienic, pleasant environment afterwards, so that both the medical team and the patient can fully concentrate on safe treatment.
Hospitality and care – You contribute to a relaxed experience for our patients, from a warm welcome to providing a light lunch.
Supporting operation planning and back office – You will help schedule appointments, maintain telephone and email contact with clients, and contribute to the smooth running of the administration surrounding the treatments.
Teamwork and development – You will work alongside an expert, empathetic team with extensive experience in cosmetic treatments and have the opportunity to further develop your medical knowledge and skills.

What do we expect from you?

Certified physician assistant (or comparable medical background)
A must: several years of hospital experience
We also invite candidates with other medical experience to respond.
You have at least an MBO-4 diploma in Medical Assistant.
You are meticulous, eager to learn, and feel responsible for creating a pleasant and safe care environment.
You enjoy working in a team, but can also take on tasks independently, such as removing stitches or performing checks.
You have a friendly and empathetic attitude towards patients and colleagues and are not afraid to show initiative.
A good dose of stress resistance and accuracy comes in handy when working in our dynamic clinic.
Careful, patient-centered, and solution-oriented approach
Flexible availability: 2 to 3 days per week, preferably on fixed days
You have a keen eye for hygiene and safety.
A warm and positive character that fits in with our atmosphere of personal care and high-quality medical care.
Clear and professional written communication is essential within our practice, both in contact with patients and in medical reporting. Native-level proficiency in Dutch is required; proficiency in English is recommended.
