How does buttock augmentation work?

These carefully designed steps guarantee a safe and effective approach to enlarging the buttocks using your own fat, with attention to both aesthetics and health.

1. Consult

At the initial consultation you will discuss with the surgeon what the advantages and disadvantages are. It will be discussed what results you can realistically can realistically expect. Also discussed is the best donor area to perform liposuction and where the fat will be removed. That fat is then injected back into the buttocks (after processing).

A buttock augmentation by liposuction takes about four hours and depends in part on the technique of the surgeon, and the size of the liposuction area.

2. Marking and photographs

The skin of the donor area and the injection area are marked. After this, photographs are taken for inclusion in your file.

3. Local anesthesia

With a few small pricks the skin around the demarcated area is numbed locally. Through the numbed skin, needles are inserted (painlessly). With these, the tumescent anesthetic is injected into the fatty tissue. The injection takes an average of 45 minutes.

4. Liposuction

Around the area to be treated A number of small incisions (0.5 to 1 cm) are made. Through these incisions, the suction cannula is inserted into the fatty tissue. The excess fatty tissue is removed by back and forth movements.

5. Lipofilling

Once the fat is processed, the surgeon begins to inject this fat into the tissue just below the surface of the skin. Injections can be placed in the buttocks to give more projection. It can also be injected into the hips to give more curves.

The fat is applied just under the skin of your buttocks and hips. This process is repeated until the desired contours are achieved.

6. Aftercare Brazilian butt elevator

A maximum of 6 weeks of a compression garment be worn. This will help reduce bruising and swelling and retract any loose skin.

When will I see results from lipofilling buttock treatment?

The full potential of the treatment usually becomes apparent after about 3 months. Around this time, any swelling that occurred after the procedure will have completely subsided, revealing the true effect of the added volume. This effect is the result of the fat cells having successfully endured the transplant and settled into their new environment. Statistically, this averages about 70% of the transplanted fat cells.
