Lipofilling behandeling met eigen vet

Lipofilling is de behandeling bij uitstek in het geval van ingevallen wangen, een diepliggend litteken, een deuk in de huid na een ongeval of liposuctie, te dunne lippen, een dunne huid onder de ogen, een diepe neus-lippenplooi of ingevallen mondhoeken. Ook is het een uitstekende behandelmethode bij het verstevigen van de borsten en billen.

Bij lipofilling wordt vet verwijderd op de ene plek (meestal buik, heupen of billen) en wordt dit, na bewerking van het vet, ingespoten in het daarvoor gewenste gebied. Er hoeven geen grote hoeveelheden weggehaald te worden en iedereen heeft wel een beetje vet, voldoende om te transplanteren. Het is een veilig procedure zonder kans op afstotingsreacties omdat het uw eigen vet is. Bovendien geeft de behandeling een blijvend effect.
TREATMENT

How does the Lipofilling treatment proceed?

Treatment consists of several stages, which are always discussed with the patient prior to treatment. First, you will be prepared by the nurse (weighing, taking your blood pressure and taking pictures). Then your specialist will discuss with you the area to be treated and mark it with a marker on the skin.

During the consultation, you will first have a conversation with one of our medical specialists to discuss your wishes and expectations.

Harvest Phase

Eerst moet een ‘donorplek’ gekozen worden, de plek waar het vet vandaan gehaald wordt. Diverse delen van het lichaam komen hiervoor in aanmerking, zoals de buik, boven de heup en de bovenbenen. Nadat de donorplek plaatselijk verdoofd is met tumescente vloeistof, wordt het te transplanteren vet met een dunne canule weggezogen. Deze procedure is te vergelijken met een kleine liposuctie, daarom kan de lipofilling-behandeling ook eenvoudig gecombineerd worden met een tumescente liposuctie als correctie van een vetophoping. Machining phase

Na het oogsten van het vet wordt dit op een speciale manier bewerkt, zodat de meest levensvatbare vetcellen overblijven. Er bestaan verschillende methoden om het verzamelde vet te bewerken of zuiveren. Different techniques

Er zijn verschillende methoden om het vet te oogsten en te bewerken. Het belangrijkste hierbij, is dat de vetcellen bij het oogsten en weer inspuiten zo min mogelijk beschadigd raken. Het doel is dat zoveel mogelijk van het ingespoten vet de procedure overleeft, zodat er een optimaal effect van de behandeling wordt bereikt.

Injection phase

Na het oogsten en bewerken, worden de vetcellen onder plaatselijke verdoving ingespoten in het gebied waar meer volume nodig is. Dit is van tevoren nauwkeurig afgetekend en we gebruiken hiervoor de techniek van inspuiting waarbij het nieuwe volume zo gelijkmatig mogelijk aangebracht wordt. Dit zorgt ervoor dat het gebied mooi opgevuld wordt en de vetcellen meer kans op overleven hebben.

Er kan per keer een beperkte hoeveelheid vetcellen ingebracht worden, omdat de vetcellen doorbloeding nodig hebben. Wanneer je teveel tegelijk in hetzelfde gebied injecteert, zullen minder vetcellen de transplantatie overleven. Bovendien is er dan een verhoogde kans op het krijgen van vet-cystes. De behandeling duurt ongeveer 2 uur.

Gemiddeld zijn er 1 tot 3 behandelingen nodig om het optimale resultaat te verkrijgen. Wij adviseren tussen elke behandeling een periode van minstens 6-8 weken aan te houden.

After lipofilling treatment

After the treatment, you will be wrapped in absorbent bandages. You will then be given an elastic suit to wear over them. Before you leave, you will be given a document detailing what medications you have had that day and our contact information for out of office hours.

Recovery period

Recovery after lipofilling. You should take it easy for the first week. Both the area where Fat was removed and the area where Fat was re-injected will feel sore and somewhat swollen. Any bruising usually disappears after 1-2 weeks.

Lipofilling is a safe procedure. As with any procedure, there is the risk of bleeding or infection. Small lumps can also sometimes be felt; these generally disappear on their own. Specific risk with areas treated symmetrically is slight asymmetry.

The final result will be fully visible after 3 months. All swelling will be gone by then and you will see the volume effect of the fat cells that survived the transplant. This is on average about 70% of the number of fat cells.
