Lipedema is a fat metabolism disorder affecting the fat cells in the legs and sometimes also the arms. The condition occurs in 10% of women from puberty onwards, ranging from mild to severe. Simply put, the fat cells Fat (they grow), but they hardly burn it anymore (so they don't get smaller when you lose weight).
This is accompanied by all kinds of symptoms. The
