Drs. Andreas Versteeg is a physician with a keen eye for detail and a clear passion for aesthetics, technique and refined surgical care. He received his medical training at the KU Leuven in Belgium, where he not only built up his medical knowledge, but also developed his precise and integer approach. He was particularly attracted to the precision of surgical disciplines, where every detail counts.
During his studies, he conducted research on heart pumps within cardio-thoracic surgery and participated in surgeries in the Philippines, valuable experiences that enhanced his technical skills and international outlook on healthcare.
Since graduating in 2019, Dr. Versteeg has gained extensive experience in general surgery, intensive care during the COVID period, and cosmetic medicine. From 2023 onwards, he will focus entirely on his passion: the treatment of lipoedema through liposuction under local tumescent anaesthesia, minor cosmetic surgery and injectables. He has already performed more than 700 liposuction procedures.
In his work, he combines medical expertise with a personal approach. He is also active within the NVCG's surgery domain group, where he assesses clinics, speaks at conferences, and regularly organizes workshops.
